RESEARCH PAPER

AIMS
-The research paper allows you to examine in detail an aspect or aspects in which media plays a role in culture and visa versa. We will discuss this further in class both as a group and individually potential topics that are both relevant to the course and each student. Students will need to consult with me to finalize their chosen topic, sources and research plan. Keep in mind this is your opportunity to delve into a subject that sparks your own area(s) of interest.

A large portion of your grade is devoted to writing a well researched and written academic paper using a diversity of bibliographic sources to support your overall thesis.

You will be required to write an 8-10-page research paper following APA citation guidelines, using endnotes (APA style) rather than footnotes. For more information on APA citation usage, please carefully consult the following sources for guidance:
